    IISER Entrance Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria

    Following are the eligibility criteria for IISER 2023 -

    • Nationality: Indian National, PIO & OCI candidates are eligible to apply.
    • Mode of IISER Admission 2023:Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE Advanced), and State and Central Boards Channel (SCB Channel) are the three ways in which IISER Admission Test is conducted.
    • KVPY Channel: Beginning in 2023-23, applicants must have a valid KYPY fellowship. Candidates must also meet the cut-off criteria, which might vary depending on the position.
    • JEE Advanced Channel: The JEE Advanced exam must be passed, and the Common Rank List (CRL) must be achieved by General Category applicants.
    • Candidates from the reserved group (OBCNC, SC, ST, and PD) should obtain a position within 10,000 in order to be considered.
    • Candidates should have passed their Class 12th or intermediate examination in 2020 or 2021 with the Science stream.
    • In order to be accepted, candidates must achieve equivalent marks or a higher cut-off rate on each board.
    • For all boards, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Kashmiri Migrants (KM) category candidates must meet the cut-off percentage of 55%.
    • For the OBC-NC and PwD categories, there is a 5% reduction in qualifying marks.

    IISER Entrance Exam 2023 Admission Process

    To participate in the IISER admission process, applicants must go through the following stages.

    Step 1: Fill IISER Entrance Exam Application Form

    For IISER entrance exam registrations, candidates need to fill out the application form in online mode on the college’s admission portal. Once the form is filled, candidates need to pay the IISER entrance exam 2023 application fee in online mode.

    Step 2: Download IISER Entrance Exam, Admit Card

    Candidates may download their IISER entrance exam 2023 admit card from the admission portal once the form is properly submitted and the application fee is paid.
    The IISER Aptitude Test 2023 admission ticket is required to be carried to the testing location.
    This entrance examination is conducted in various Indian cities. When completing the online application form, the candidate must select from a list of cities where he or she would like to take the aptitude test. The aptitude test may be administered from a variety of locations in a single city. The centre information will be printed on the hall ticket.

    Step 3: Appear for IISER Entrance Exam

    After that, candidates must take the Science entrance exam at one of the designated testing locations. A three-hour exam with objective-type multiple-choice questions of 180 points is the IISER aptitude test.
