College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities aren't really a strong point here. Placement drives were rare during my time, and placement counseling wasn't readily available. If you're looking for immediate job placements after graduation, this might not be the best college for that. Focus on higher studies instead.
Course Information :
The B.Sc. Biomedical Sciences Hons course at Acharya Narendra Dev College is pretty solid. It's one of the few colleges in India offering it, which is a big plus. The curriculum is vast and prepares you for fields like genetics and pharmacy. If you're into core science, this course is a good starting point.
Fee Structure :
Being a government college, the fees are quite minimal. However, students in Biomedical and Computer Science do pay a bit extra for lab fees, which is understandable given the equipment needed. Overall, it's still quite affordable, especially compared to private colleges.
Faculty :
The faculty in the Biomedical Science department are experts in their fields, and the teaching quality is generally good. They know their stuff and are helpful. From my experience, the professors are dedicated and make the subjects interesting, which is a big thumbs up.
Campus Details :
The campus has its ups and downs. The library and labs are great, especially the BMS labs. It's also good that the college is accessible for differently-abled students. However, the sports grounds are small, and there isn't much space to chill besides the canteen and lawns. The GCR could use some improvement.
