A Mixed Bag: My Experience at Acharya Narendra Dev College

Likes

  • Good lab facilities
  • Decent Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Some dedicated faculty members

Dislikes

  • Outdated teaching methods
  • Lack of departmental spaces
  • Limited internship opportunities
  • Office staff unsupportive
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

The college provides some internship opportunities, but they could be better. Most of the departments get some placements, but the percentage of students getting placed is quite low. The college needs to focus on building stronger industry connections and providing more internship options for students.

Course Information :

The B.Sc Computer Science Hons course is pretty decent here. The curriculum is updated, and you get a good foundation in programming. Some of the electives could be more relevant to current industry trends, but overall, it's a solid choice if you're into coding and tech.

Fee Structure :

For B.Sc Computer Science Hons, the fees are super reasonable, around ₹3,000 per year. It's a steal for the quality of education you get. There might be some extra charges for lab work and exams, but nothing too crazy. Definitely value for money!

Faculty :

Some teachers are really dedicated and helpful, especially in the Computer Science department. However, a few of them seem a bit outdated in their teaching methods. They need to incorporate more practical, real-world examples into their lectures. Overall, it's a mixed bag, but there are some gems.

Campus Details :

The campus is okay, but could use some improvements. The classrooms and labs are good, and the Wi-Fi is reliable. But, there's a lack of dedicated spaces for each department. More sports facilities and updated digital classrooms would definitely enhance the campus experience.
