College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are limited within the college. Most students rely on off-campus placements for better packages. The college does have tie-ups with some companies, but the roles offered aren't always the best. You'll need to network and apply externally to get good internships.
Course Information :
The B.Tech CSE program at AKGEC is pretty decent. The syllabus could be more updated to match the current industry standards, but the core concepts are well-taught. It's a good foundation, but you'll need to put in extra effort to stay relevant with the latest tech.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure is quite reasonable, especially with the available scholarships. It becomes one of the most affordable options. However, hostel fees are a bit high considering the limited space and facilities provided. As a day scholar with a scholarship, it's definitely a value-for-money deal.
Faculty :
The faculty is okay, but they could definitely improve the teaching quality. Sometimes it feels like we're rushing through the syllabus. They're knowledgeable, but the delivery could be better. You might need to supplement your learning with external resources.
Campus Details :
The campus has all the necessary facilities, but some areas need updating. The living spaces are clean, and the food is hygienic, which is a plus. However, the academic pressure can make campus life a bit dull. Students mostly engage in society activities and inter-college events to have fun.
