  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

Internship opportunities for Mass Communication students were rare, especially due to the pandemic. While the faculty did share some job and internship offers, they weren't always the best fit. Hopefully, things will improve for future batches as the situation normalizes.

Course Information :

MA Mass Communication at Amrita is pretty decent. The on-campus experience was great, with good studio exposure. However, the shift to online classes during the pandemic did affect the quality of teaching a bit. Still, the college tried its best to maintain standards through its online platform.

Fee Structure :

The fee structure felt a bit steep, especially since we didn't get the full campus experience in the final year due to online classes. Paying the same fee without the practical skills and campus exposure was a bummer. I think the fees for MA Mass Communication is around ₹70,000 per semester.

Faculty :

The faculty in the Mass Communication department are supportive and knowledgeable. They were always ready to help us out, especially during our time on campus. Even though placements weren't great, they did share job and internship opportunities with us, which was helpful.

Campus Details :

Amrita's Coimbatore campus is awesome! The library is huge, with tons of books and study materials. The campus amenities are great, and the teachers and staff are super supportive. I only got to enjoy it for 8 months, but it was a fantastic experience.
