College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities for Chemical Engineering students are limited. Most of the companies that come for placements are looking for CSE, ECE, and IT students. I wish there were more efforts to bring in companies for core engineering branches.
Course Information :
I'm in Chemical Engineering, and honestly, the course content is pretty updated. The faculty knows their stuff, but the lab sessions could be way better. More practical experience would definitely help. Overall, it's decent but has room for improvement.
Fee Structure :
Fees for Chemical Engineering are around ₹60,000 per year. It feels a bit much considering the facilities. Some of my friends in CSE are paying similar fees, but they seem to have better lab equipment. Could be more value for money.
Faculty :
The faculty in the Chemical Engineering department are knowledgeable and helpful. They're always ready to clear doubts and provide guidance. However, sometimes the teaching methods can be a bit old-school. More interactive sessions would be great.
Campus Details :
The campus has the basics like classrooms, a library, and seminar halls. But the Wi-Fi is only available in labs, which is a bummer. The playground and gym need serious upgrades. It's okay, but not the best campus experience.
