College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are very limited. Not many companies come for recruitment, and only a small percentage of students get placed. The college needs to focus on building connections with companies and providing better internship opportunities for students.
Course Information :
The B.Tech IT course at BCET Durgapur needs serious improvement. The curriculum feels outdated, and it doesn't really prepare you for the current industry standards. I wish they would update the syllabus and bring in more practical, hands-on learning.
Fee Structure :
The fees for B.Tech IT are around ₹90,000 per year, which feels quite expensive considering the quality of education. Honestly, I don't think it's worth the money. They need to improve the teaching and placement opportunities to justify the cost.
Faculty :
Some teachers are good, but the teaching quality overall is not up to par. They don't seem to put in the effort to make students job-ready. It's frustrating because we need better guidance and support from the faculty to succeed.
Campus Details :
The campus is okay, and the environment is clean. But the labs and libraries are not well-maintained. We get outdated books, and the facilities need a major upgrade. It's disappointing because a good campus environment is essential for learning.
