College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities were limited for my course. While some departments had corporate exposure, BA Bengali Hons didn't have many options. The college needs to focus on bringing more internship opportunities for all disciplines to enhance practical learning.
Course Information :
I took BA Bengali Hons at Bethune College, and the course content was really engaging. The professors are super knowledgeable, and they make the classes interesting. It's a great option if you're passionate about Bengali literature and culture. Highly recommended!
Fee Structure :
Bethune College is a government college, so the fees are quite affordable. I paid minimal monthly fees, which was a huge relief for my family. For BA Bengali Hons, the annual fee was around ₹2,000-₹3,000, making it accessible for many students.
Faculty :
The professors in the Bengali department are top-notch. They're not just teachers; they're mentors who genuinely care about your progress. They're always ready to help you out with any doubts or questions. Their teaching methods are effective, and they make learning fun.
Campus Details :
The campus is decent, but could use some improvements. The classrooms are okay, but the library could be better equipped. However, the college environment is very disciplined, and I always felt safe. It's a women's college, so the atmosphere is very respectful.
