While placements aren't typically a big thing for BA students, BHU is working to improve this. They've established a separate placement cell for our college, and they're actively reaching out to companies. Recently, even Zee News hired a student from our course, which is a positive sign.

I pursued BA Hons from BHU, and it was a mixed bag. The course curriculum is updated, but the online classes during the pandemic weren't great. Some professors just taught orally, which wasn't very effective. However, the offline classes and updated syllabus made up for it to some extent.

The fee structure at BHU is unbelievably affordable, just around ₹2000 per year! This covers access to the library, cyber library, Wi-Fi, and health center facilities. It's definitely the most value-for-money college in India. Hostel and mess fees are also significantly low compared to other colleges.

The faculty at BHU are undoubtedly knowledgeable and experienced. However, the quality of teaching varied, especially during the online sessions. Some professors were excellent, while others struggled to adapt to the online format. Overall, the faculty is supportive and dedicated to their students.

BHU's campus is huge, spread across more than 5km, offering plenty of grounds and cafes to chill. It's located near Assi Ghat, a popular tourist spot, making it a perfect location for a university. The campus is generally clean, although some older buildings could use some maintenance. With 1700 guards, security is pretty good.
