College Internship Opportunities :
While placements are good, core branch internships could be better. Most students end up in IT companies. The college needs to bring in more core companies for internships to give students a better exposure to their fields.
Course Information :
B.Tech CSE at BMSIT is pretty solid. The curriculum is updated, and you get a good mix of theory and practical knowledge. The faculty is experienced, and they focus on making you industry-ready. Overall, it's a good choice if you're serious about coding and tech.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure at BMSIT is on par with other ComedK and CET colleges. Expect to pay around ₹2-3 lakhs per year for B.Tech courses. Hostel fees are reasonable, making it a decent value for money proposition.
Faculty :
Some professors are really knowledgeable and helpful, but a few need to update their industry knowledge. They mostly focus on completing the syllabus rather than in-depth understanding. More practical, industry-oriented teaching would be great.
Campus Details :
BMSIT has a great campus with lush greenery and a beautiful amphitheater. The open cafeteria is one of the best in Bangalore. You'll find modern labs, a gym, and sports facilities. It's a bit far from the main city but easily accessible by bus.
