Bundelkhand University (BU Jhansi) Experience: Okay Academics, Could be Better Placements

  • Poor placement record

  • Teaching quality needs improvement
  • Limited internship opportunities

  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are few and far between. The college doesn't really help much in finding internships, so you're mostly on your own. If you're looking for good exposure through internships, this might not be the best place.

Course Information :

I'm currently studying B.Sc Microbiology Hons here. The course content is decent, but honestly, it could be more updated with the latest industry trends. Some of the lab equipment feels a bit outdated too. Overall, it's an okay course, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Fee Structure :

The fee for my B.Sc Microbiology Hons course is around ₹22,000 per year, which is quite affordable. However, there are some additional charges for practical exams and lab materials. Considering the facilities, I think the fee is reasonable, but a little transparency in the fee breakdown would be appreciated.

Faculty :

The faculty in the Institute of Life Science (Microbiology department) are experienced, but some of them aren't that good at teaching. They know their stuff, but sometimes it's hard to understand their lectures. More focus on interactive teaching methods would make a big difference.

Campus Details :

The campus has the basic facilities you'd expect, but it's not the most well-maintained place. Classrooms are clean enough, but the hostels need a lot of work. They're not in great shape, and the food quality varies. Campus life is pretty dull, to be honest.
