College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are limited and not very well-organized. The college doesn't provide much support in finding good internships. You have to rely on your own connections and efforts. The college should focus on building better industry partnerships to provide more internship options.
Course Information :
The B.Arch program at Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture has potential, but it needs a serious revamp. The curriculum feels outdated, and there's a lack of practical application. Honestly, I expected more hands-on experience and industry exposure. It's disappointing considering the fees we pay.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for B.Arch is quite high, around ₹3.5 Lakhs per year. Considering the facilities and the overall college experience, it doesn't feel like value for money. There are many hidden charges as well, which they don't tell you upfront. Be prepared to shell out extra for everything.
Faculty :
The faculty members are knowledgeable and well-trained, but their teaching methods are quite old-school. They are always ready to help you. They need to incorporate more modern techniques and real-world examples to make the classes more engaging. Some professors are really passionate, though.
Campus Details :
The campus life is almost non-existent. It feels more like a school than a college. There are hardly any events or activities to look forward to. The infrastructure is also quite basic. The classrooms are okay, but the labs and other facilities need improvement. It's a very dull environment.
