College Internship Opportunities :
The college does try to bring in internship opportunities, but they're not always the best. Some of my friends got internships through college referrals, but most of us had to find our own. It would be great if the college focused more on securing better internship programs for students.
Course Information :
I'm pursuing B.Com here, and honestly, it's a mixed bag. The course itself is pretty standard, covering all the basics you'd expect. The syllabus is updated, which is a plus, but sometimes I feel like it could be more practical. Overall, it's decent for a B.Com degree.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for B.Com is quite reasonable, around ₹15,000 per year. There are additional charges for exams and extracurricular activities, but nothing too exorbitant. It's definitely value for money considering the course content and faculty.
Faculty :
The commerce faculty is really the highlight of CHM. Most professors are super knowledgeable and helpful. They explain concepts well and are always ready to clear doubts. However, sometimes lectures aren't regular, which can be a bit frustrating. But they do try to cover everything eventually.
Campus Details :
CHM has a big campus with separate buildings for different departments. There are two large playgrounds for sports and events. The library is vast, and the science labs are well-equipped. However, cleanliness is an issue. The washrooms and some areas are not well-maintained, which is a bummer. The canteen food is good though!
