College Internship Opportunities :
DBIT provides some internship opportunities, but they aren't as extensive as I'd hoped. You'll need to be proactive and network to find the best internships. Career guidance could be improved to help students better prepare for placements and internships.
Course Information :
The Computer Engineering course at DBIT is pretty standard. The syllabus is okay, but could be updated to include more current industry practices. Some of the professors are really knowledgeable, while others just seem to be going through the motions. Overall, it's a decent course if you're willing to put in the extra effort to learn things on your own.
Fee Structure :
The fees for BE Computer Engineering are around ₹43,500 per year, which is a bit steep compared to other colleges in Mumbai. While the infrastructure is decent, I'm not sure it justifies the high cost. You might want to consider if the facilities and potential placements are worth the investment.
Faculty :
Some faculty members are really dedicated and helpful, always ready to assist with doubts and provide guidance. However, there are a few who seem less engaged. Overall, the faculty is a mixed bag, but if you find the right mentors, they can really help you excel.
Campus Details :
The campus is quite nice with two open grounds that give it a spacious feel. It's a great place to chill with friends. The library has a good collection of books, but honestly, most students don't really use it much. It could be better utilized.
