College Internship Opportunities :
The college provides some internship opportunities, but you need to be proactive in finding them. The placement cell does help, but it's mostly up to you to network and apply. Participating in club activities and projects can definitely boost your chances of landing a good internship.
Course Information :
As a Mechanical Engineering student, the course structure is pretty standard, following the university curriculum. It's a bit outdated, but that's a common issue with university-affiliated colleges. Still, the faculty tries their best to keep us updated with industry trends. Overall, a decent course if you're ready to put in the extra effort.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure varies based on your caste category, which is pretty standard in India. For general category students, expect to pay around ₹1.5-2 Lakh per year for Mechanical Engineering. Make sure to check the exact amount based on your category during admission. Scholarships are available, so do inquire about those!
Faculty :
The faculty is a mixed bag. Some professors are really knowledgeable and helpful, always ready to clear doubts and provide guidance. Others are just okay. But overall, they are supportive and guide you well if you're willing to learn. Following their guidelines definitely helps during placements.
Campus Details :
Campus life is pretty good, like most Pune colleges. The infrastructure is decent, with Wi-Fi and libraries. Some labs need better equipment, though. Sadly, there's no sports ground, which is a bummer. But the living spaces are clean and well-maintained. The college also has various clubs, both technical and non-technical, like Toastmasters, Baja, Supra, and Gokart.
