DY Patil College Pune: A Solid Choice for Engineering

Likes

  • Good campus life with lots of activities
  • Supportive and cooperative teaching staff
  • Decent placement opportunities
  • Well-maintained infrastructure

Dislikes

  • High course fees compared to facilities
  • Average quality of teaching in some departments
  • Need for more practical learning
  • Limited internship opportunities
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

The college does bring in some companies for internships, but it's not super competitive. Most students try for off-campus internships to get better exposure and opportunities. It's definitely something the college could improve on.

Course Information :

I'm enrolled in the Computer Engineering program here, and it's pretty decent. The curriculum is updated, and they cover most of the important topics. It could be more hands-on, but overall, it's a good base for building a career in tech.

Fee Structure :

The fees are around ₹1.5 lakh for the first year and about ₹1 lakh for subsequent years. Honestly, it feels a bit steep considering the facilities. Some improvements could definitely make it feel more worth the money.

Faculty :

The faculty is a mixed bag. Some teachers are really knowledgeable and helpful, while others are just average. If you're proactive and seek help, you'll find the support you need to get through.

Campus Details :

Campus life is the best part of DY Patil! The atmosphere is relaxed, and there's always something happening. From DJ nights to festival celebrations, it's a fun place to be. Plus, everyone's pretty helpful and friendly.
