  • Poor placement opportunities for ECE
  • Limited corporate exposure
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are scarce at GBPUAT Pantnagar. Corporate exposure is almost non-existent. The college needs to actively work on bringing in more companies for internships to give students practical experience and a better chance at placements.

Course Information :

The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) course at GBPUAT Pantnagar needs a serious update. The curriculum feels outdated, and the placements are heavily reliant on TCS. It's a good course, but it needs more industry exposure and updated content to stay relevant.

Fee Structure :

I don't have the exact fee structure for ECE at GBPUAT Pantnagar, but generally, government colleges have subsidized fees. Expect it to be affordable compared to private institutions, maybe around ₹30,000-₹50,000 per year. Check the official website for the latest details.

Faculty :

The faculty in the ECE department is limited, with only about five members. Many courses are taught by TAs who are recent B.Tech graduates. While they might be knowledgeable, the lack of experienced professors is a concern. More experienced faculty would definitely improve the learning experience.

Campus Details :

GBPUAT Pantnagar has decent infrastructure, but the strict hostel timings (6:30 PM curfew) are a major drawback. It feels like being in a boarding school rather than a college. The restrictions, especially for girls, are excessive and limit campus life.
