College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities were scarce and mostly for tech support roles, which wasn't my cup of tea. The college did connect me with a startup later, but I already had an offer. You might have to hustle and look for internships off-campus.
Course Information :
B.Tech IT at Geethanjali College covers a wide range of subjects, but the curriculum felt a bit outdated. Some professors were really good, but overall, the course needs some serious updates to stay relevant in today's tech world. It's decent, but could be way better.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for B.Tech IT was around ₹60,000 per year back when I joined. Honestly, for the quality of education, it felt a bit steep. There were some scholarships available, but not many students got them. Keep an eye out for fee hikes too.
Faculty :
Faculty support was hit or miss. Some professors were super dedicated and helpful, especially if you showed initiative. But others seemed disinterested. It really depended on the department and the professor. If you're proactive, you'll find good mentors.
Campus Details :
The campus had decent infrastructure back in my day, with sports facilities like a sports room, football, and volleyball. They were building a residential complex, so I'm guessing it's complete now. No lift facilities for physically disabled students though, which is a big miss.
