College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are not great. Most students have to find internships on their own. The college could do more to bring companies for internships, especially for core branches. The placement cell needs to be more proactive in this regard.
Course Information :
The Computer Science program at Global Academy of Technology is decent. The curriculum is updated, but could use more practical application. Some of the faculty are really knowledgeable, but the course could benefit from more industry-relevant projects.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for BE Computer Science and Engineering is around ₹1.5 Lakh per year. It's pretty standard for a private engineering college in Bangalore. However, considering the placement scenario, it feels a bit on the higher side. There are scholarship options available, which can help reduce the burden.
Faculty :
Some of the professors are really good and supportive, especially in the Computer Science department. They're knowledgeable and approachable. However, a few faculty members need to improve their teaching methods to make the concepts clearer. Overall, it's a mixed bag.
Campus Details :
The campus is okay, nothing too fancy. The infrastructure is decent, but sports facilities are lacking. There's a basketball court and a cricket ground, but the equipment is often in short supply. The library needs more digital resources and foreign author books.
