GCOEJ: A Mixed Bag of Academics and Campus Life

Likes

  • Good academic building infrastructure
  • Friendly and approachable teachers
  • Decent WiFi facility
  • Active placement cell efforts

Dislikes

  • Poor campus maintenance
  • Canteen quality is subpar
  • Classrooms get too hot in summer
  • Limited internship opportunities
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are somewhat limited due to the location of Jalgaon. However, the placement cell works hard to bring in companies. While many seniors opt for competitive exams, there are still some internship options available if you look for them.

Course Information :

The B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at GCOEJ has a decent curriculum. Teachers are approachable and focus on clearing concepts, which is a big plus. While the college brags about its well-planned curriculum for overall development, it's a mix of good teaching and some exceptions.

Fee Structure :

For the open category, the fees are around ₹80,000 per year, which is quite reasonable. Considering the facilities and academics, it feels like a value-for-money deal. However, keep in mind that additional expenses for books and other materials will be there.

Faculty :

The faculty is generally nice and helpful, especially if you're proactive in clearing your doubts. Some teachers are really dedicated, but like any college, there are a few who might not be up to the mark. Overall, a mixed bag, but mostly positive experiences.

Campus Details :

The main academic building has decent infrastructure, and WiFi is available throughout the campus. Classrooms are okay, but can get really hot during summers. The seminar hall is nice and frequently used. Campus maintenance could be better, though.
