KPB Hinduja College: Okay Academics, Small Campus

Likes

  • Clean and well-maintained classrooms
  • Decent canteen food
  • Some helpful faculty members
  • Affordable fees

Dislikes

  • Very small campus
  • Limited campus life
  • Low placement opportunities
  • Teaching methods need improvement
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

The college doesn't really push internships. You have to find them on your own. There are some career guidance sessions, but nothing concrete in terms of placements or internships. So, you need to be proactive.

Course Information :

I'm doing my B.Com here, and honestly, the course is alright. The syllabus is manageable, but sometimes I feel like it could be more updated to match what's happening in the real world. Still, it's a decent foundation for commerce studies.

Fee Structure :

The fees for B.Com are pretty reasonable compared to other colleges in Mumbai. I think it's around ₹15,000-₹20,000 per year, which is manageable. However, considering the facilities and campus size, you might feel like you're paying just enough, not getting a steal deal.

Faculty :

Some teachers are really helpful and know their stuff, but others just seem to be going through the motions. It's a mixed bag. If you're proactive and ask questions, you'll definitely get guidance. They are regular with their lectures.

Campus Details :

The campus is tiny, like seriously small. It's basically a lane. Don't expect any sprawling grounds or anything. But the classrooms and library are well-maintained, and there's cleanliness everywhere, which is a plus. The canteen food is decent too.
