College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are kinda limited, mostly to IT companies. Core companies are rare, but they do show up sometimes. Some departments get more support for placements than others. Most of my batchmates ended up going for master's degrees.
Course Information :
I took B.Tech Aerospace Engineering here. The course gives you a solid theoretical base, but honestly, it could use more real-world applications. Some professors are really dedicated and helpful, which makes a big difference. Overall, it's decent but could be better.
Fee Structure :
The fees for my course were around 1.5 lakh initially, but now they've shot up to about 3.5 lakh, which is quite a jump. If you've got good marks, definitely try for a scholarship; it can really help. Otherwise, you might want to weigh your options because it's getting pretty expensive.
Faculty :
The faculty is a mixed bag. Some professors are really knowledgeable and supportive, always ready to help with studies and career advice. But, some are just average. If you connect with the right profs, you can definitely get good guidance and mentorship.
Campus Details :
The campus is pretty green and has a nice vibe, especially with the older buildings from the 90s. We've got decent libraries and labs, especially for engineering streams. The new hostels are good, but some classrooms need work. Plus, it's close to the sea, which is a bonus!
