College Internship Opportunities :
While there aren't many formal internships offered directly by the college, the curriculum and practical training prepare you well for state-level jobs like those at ONGC and BSNL. Many students also opt to pursue B.Tech after their diploma, opening up more opportunities.
Course Information :
The Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course here is pretty good. The teachers are experienced, especially for a diploma-level program. They focus on making us job-ready, which is great because there are opportunities in the oil sector and other JE-level jobs after graduation.
Fee Structure :
Being a government institute, the fees are super affordable, only around ₹1,000 per semester. Hostel and mess fees are extra, but even with that, it's still a great deal. Getting a diploma that can lead to a Junior Engineer post for such a low fee is totally worth it.
Faculty :
The teachers in the IE branch are knowledgeable and helpful, especially considering it's a diploma college. They really try to prepare you for jobs in the industry. The faculty is one of the best things about this college, making it a great place to study.
Campus Details :
The campus is quite old, with buildings dating back to British times, which gives it a unique charm. There are separate blocks for each of the seven departments, and most classrooms have projectors. The college also has two sports grounds and good NCC facilities.
