College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities were scarce. The college didn't seem to have strong connections with industries, and the placement committee wasn't very proactive in bringing companies for internships. Most of us had to find internships on our own.
Course Information :
The B.Tech Computer Science program at IEC College didn't quite hit the mark for me. The curriculum felt outdated, and there wasn't enough focus on practical skills. While some professors were dedicated, the overall quality of instruction needs improvement to truly prepare students for the industry.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for the B.Tech programs is around ₹1.2 Lakh per year, which feels quite steep considering the quality of education and facilities provided. There are additional charges for exams and other miscellaneous activities, making it a bit heavy on the pocket.
Faculty :
Honestly, the faculty was a mixed bag. Some professors were really knowledgeable and helpful, but others seemed disinterested and just read off slides. It felt like they were just dictating chapters instead of actually teaching. Definitely needs improvement!
Campus Details :
The campus environment was pretty bad. There were constant issues with infrastructure, and the overall atmosphere wasn't conducive to learning. Plus, there weren't many successful college events due to a lack of support from the management and students.
