College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are limited. You'll have to put in a lot of effort to secure a good internship on your own. The college doesn't provide much support in this area, so be prepared to network and apply independently.
Course Information :
B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Bhubaneswar might not be the best choice if you're looking for top-tier academics. The course structure needs improvement, and the lab facilities are quite outdated. It's okay, but definitely not comparable to IITs or NITs.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for B.Tech programs is quite high. Expect to pay around ₹8 Lakhs for tuition alone over four years, excluding hostel and mess fees. Honestly, there are better government and even private colleges offering similar courses at a lower cost. It's a bit overpriced for what you get.
Faculty :
Faculty quality is a mixed bag. Some professors are knowledgeable, but overall, the faculty profile isn't as strong as what you'd find in IITs or NITs. There's room for improvement in terms of teaching methodologies and research experience.
Campus Details :
The campus infrastructure is pretty basic. Lab facilities are subpar, and access is limited to just 3 hours a day. Don't expect a vibrant campus life either. It's more functional than exciting, and there's definitely a need for upgrades.
