Course Information :

The B.Tech Computer Science program at IIT Madras is highly competitive. The curriculum is rigorous, but it's worth it. You get exposed to cutting-edge technologies and have ample opportunities for research. The professors are top-notch, and the peer learning environment is fantastic. Definitely a great choice for aspiring coders!

Fee Structure :

The fee structure for B.Tech programs at IIT Madras is subsidized, making it quite affordable compared to private engineering colleges. Expect to pay around ₹2-3 lakhs per year, including tuition and hostel fees. Scholarships and financial aid are also available for deserving students, which can further ease the financial burden.

Faculty :

Some professors are research giants but might not be the best teachers, while others are exceptionally good at teaching. Overall, the faculty is knowledgeable and approachable. They are always ready to help you out if you show genuine interest in learning. It's a mixed bag, but mostly positive!

Campus Details :

IIT Madras has a lush green campus that's a treat to the eyes. The infrastructure is decent, not super fancy, but functional. The Gajendra Circle (GC) is the heart of the campus, where everyone hangs out. Hostels are okay, except for the tower hostels, which are a bit of a nightmare. But the older hostels have their charm!
