College Internship Opportunities :
The college does provide internship opportunities, thanks to the faculty's connections. However, don't expect any job guarantees after you graduate. Internships are the main focus, which is helpful but not a complete solution.
Course Information :
Honestly, the BJMC course here hasn't lived up to my expectations. While the field itself is super creative, the course structure leans heavily on theory. I was hoping for more practical experience, especially with the TV studio we have. It's a bit of a letdown if you're looking for hands-on learning.
Fee Structure :
The fees are around ₹1,17,000 for the first year and ₹1,00,000 for the subsequent years, but honestly, it feels like a waste. They even charge for Wi-Fi, which barely works! If you're serious about journalism, this might not be the best value for your money.
Faculty :
Some professors are really good and supportive, especially when it comes to internships. They have great contacts in the industry. However, the focus is more on theory than practical application, which is a major drawback for a field like journalism.
Campus Details :
Campus life is okay, depends on your friends. The location is good with lots of food options nearby. We have a radio station and a TV studio, which are cool. But the infrastructure could be better, especially the computer labs.
