JNU Jaipur: Great Campus, But Academics Need Work

Likes

  • Big and beautiful campus
  • Good Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Well-maintained library
  • Lots of green spaces

Dislikes

  • High fees for the quality of education
  • Focus on attendance over learning
  • Poor placement opportunities
  • Inconsistent faculty quality
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are not that great for core branches. Most of my friends are struggling to find good internships. The college needs to bring in more companies for placements and internships, especially for fields like CSE.

Course Information :

I'm doing B.Tech in Computer Science here. Honestly, the course content is okay, but it feels like they focus more on attendance than actually teaching us stuff. Could be way better if they updated the curriculum and focused on practical skills.

Fee Structure :

The fees for B.Tech CSE is around ₹1.5 lakh per year, which feels a bit steep considering the quality of education. They're always on time to collect fees, but sometimes classes get cancelled. It's like, where's the value for money?

Faculty :

Some faculty members are really good and helpful, but others just seem to be going through the motions. It's a mixed bag. If you get stuck with a prof who isn't great, it can really affect your understanding of the subject.

Campus Details :

The campus is definitely the best part of JNU. It's huge, with good Wi-Fi, decent labs, and a big, clean library. There are also nice parks to chill in. No complaints about the infrastructure at all!
