College Internship Opportunities :
While core companies don't visit often, there are plenty of IT companies that come for placements. The packages aren't great, but the number of companies visiting is high. You'll definitely get an internship if you try.
Course Information :
B.Tech CSE at JIS College of Engineering is pretty decent. The curriculum is updated, thanks to the college being autonomous. You get to learn a lot of new stuff, and the teachers are supportive, even if some have a bit of a language barrier. Overall, it's a good course if you're willing to put in the effort.
Fee Structure :
The B.Tech CSE course costs around ₹1 lakh per year, which is a bit much considering the facilities. The recent fee hike due to the introduction of flip learning is a bit of a bummer. Hostel fees are about ₹6,000 per month, which is manageable.
Faculty :
Some teachers have trouble with English, which can be a problem if you're from another state. But honestly, they're all helpful and guide you through the four years. They really try to help you develop extra skills, which is a big plus.
Campus Details :
The campus is small but beautiful. The infrastructure is okay, but could definitely use some upgrades. The location is a bit far from the city, which can be a pain, but it's safe. The teachers and staff are friendly, which makes it feel welcoming.
