College Internship Opportunities :
Placement opportunities are good if you're from an IT background. Civil and Mechanical students might face some challenges, even though Aurangabad has a major industrial area. I didn't get much support for internships in core companies.
Course Information :
The B.Tech Mechanical Engineering course at JNEC is decent. The curriculum was recently updated, which is a plus. While the college is investing in new tech, students looking to heavily participate in competitions like BAJA might find it lacking. Overall, it's an okay choice for Mechanical Engineering.
Fee Structure :
My fees were under ₹90k per year, which felt like a good deal. However, now that the college is becoming a university, the fees might increase to around ₹1.5 lakh per year. So, keep that in mind while planning your finances.
Faculty :
The faculty is approachable and helpful. They're willing to guide you with resources and projects. Many teachers are open to helping students with research, which is a great opportunity to learn beyond the curriculum. It's a positive and supportive environment.
Campus Details :
The campus life is awesome! There are events, seminars, and workshops happening almost every other day. The infrastructure is good with smart classrooms and well-equipped labs. Canteens are clean, and the food is good. Toilets and restrooms are also well-maintained.
