College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are scarce, and the college doesn't provide much assistance in securing them. You're mostly on your own. It's disappointing because internships are crucial for gaining experience. KIIT should definitely focus on building industry connections and helping students find relevant internships.
Course Information :
As a fashion design student, I feel KIIT needs to step up its game. The course content isn't always up-to-date with industry standards, and I wish there were more practical workshops. It's a decent course, but it could be way better in preparing us for the real world.
Fee Structure :
The fees for B.Des Fashion Design are around ₹3.5 lakhs per year, which feels a bit steep considering the facilities. Honestly, for the kind of money we're paying, I expected more in terms of equipment and resources. It's a significant investment, so weigh your options carefully.
Faculty :
Some faculty members are really supportive and knowledgeable, but others seem disconnected. It's a mixed bag. A few teachers go the extra mile to help, but some don't seem too invested in our success. More student-friendly faculty would definitely improve the learning experience.
Campus Details :
The campus looks great, and the infrastructure is well-maintained. Hostels and classrooms are clean, but the Wi-Fi is super unreliable. It's frustrating when you need to submit assignments and can't get online. Overall, the campus has potential, but the Wi-Fi needs a serious upgrade.
