Lingaya's Vidyapeeth: Is the B.Tech Quality Declining?

Likes

  • Decent infrastructure
  • Good sports facilities
  • Experienced professors are supportive
  • Active clubs and events

Dislikes

  • Decreasing placement opportunities
  • High fees compared to ROI
  • Outdated course curriculum
  • Lack of industry exposure
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are limited, and not many top companies come for recruitment. Students have to rely on off-campus efforts, which is quite challenging. The college needs to focus on building better industry connections.

Course Information :

I heard the B.Tech CSE program used to be top-notch, but now it seems like the quality has dropped. Some say the curriculum isn't as updated as it should be, and it's affecting the learning experience. Hoping they bring back the spark!

Fee Structure :

The fees for B.Tech are quite high, especially considering the current placement scenario. For B.Tech CSE, it's around ₹2.5 Lakhs per year. Feels like a lot when the returns aren't as promising. Need to see better value for money.

Faculty :

Many of the experienced professors have left, which is a big loss. The current faculty is okay, but the mentorship and guidance aren't the same. Really missing the old teachers who made the course engaging and worthwhile.

Campus Details :

The campus is decent, but it could use some improvements. The infrastructure is average, and there's not much happening in terms of extracurricular activities. It would be great if they invested more in facilities and student life.
