College Internship Opportunities :
Loyola has good tie-ups with corporate firms, so internship opportunities are pretty decent. Many companies visit for placements, and they often offer internships too. It's all about grabbing the opportunities when they come your way. Network and keep an eye out!
Course Information :
I took B.Sc Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology, and it was pretty good. The course content is up-to-date, and you get a solid foundation. The labs are well-equipped, which is a big plus. If you're serious about a career in zoology or biotech, this course is a decent starting point.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure at Loyola is quite affordable, especially considering the quality of education. For B.Sc courses, you're looking at around ₹20,000-₹30,000 per year. Plus, they offer scholarships and concessions for students from less privileged backgrounds, which is a huge help.
Faculty :
Some professors are really knowledgeable and helpful, but honestly, a few of them need to brush up on their English and teaching skills. As a Zoology student, I felt some faculty lacked a holistic understanding. It's a mixed bag, but if you're proactive, you can still learn a lot.
Campus Details :
The campus is huge and beautiful, like something out of a British-era movie! It's got lush green fields, well-maintained parks, and the buildings are designed for great ventilation. Seriously, you barely need a fan. It's a great place to chill and study, though the rules can be a bit much.
