College Internship Opportunities :
The college does try to bring in companies for internships, especially for CSE and IT students. However, the opportunities are not as abundant as I'd hoped. You really need to network and put in the effort to find a good internship. The placement cell provides some guidance, but it's mostly up to you.
Course Information :
I'm currently pursuing BE Computer Science and Engineering here. The course curriculum is decent, but honestly, the practical application could be better. Some of the faculty are really knowledgeable, but the outdated lab equipment really holds us back. Hoping for some upgrades soon!
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for BE Computer Science and Engineering is around ₹55,702 per year. It's pretty standard compared to other colleges in Chennai. However, considering the infrastructure, I feel it's a bit on the higher side. They do offer some scholarships based on merit and family income, so look into those!
Faculty :
Some of the professors are really dedicated and have a strong grasp of their subjects. They're always willing to help if you approach them after class. However, a few faculty members seem a bit outdated in their teaching methods. Overall, it's a mixed bag, but the good ones definitely make a difference.
Campus Details :
The campus is quite large, but the buildings themselves are pretty old and could use some serious renovation. The grounds are well-maintained, but the interiors are just average. It's not the most visually appealing campus, to be honest. They do have a decent library and sports facilities, though.
