College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are okayish. The college does try to bring in companies for internships, but the number of opportunities is limited. You might have to put in extra effort to find good internships on your own. Networking with seniors and faculty can help a lot.
Course Information :
I'm currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering here, and the course curriculum is pretty updated. Since MATS is autonomous, they keep tweaking the syllabus to match industry standards. The faculty is a mix of experienced profs and fresh faces, which brings a good balance to the teaching.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure is a bit on the higher side compared to other colleges in Chhattisgarh. For B.Tech CSE, it's around ₹1.5 Lakh per year. Honestly, if placements are your priority, you might find better options outside the state for that price range. But if you're looking for a good learning environment, it's decent.
Faculty :
The faculty is a mixed bag. Some teachers are super experienced and helpful, while others are a bit rude and less supportive. But overall, you'll find enough good teachers to guide you through your course. Just be prepared to deal with some attitude from a few profs.
Campus Details :
The campus is huge and pretty chill. Classrooms are spacious, and the hostels are decent with hygienic food options. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, though the speed can be a bit slow at times. They also have good sports facilities, so you can unwind after classes.
