College Internship Opportunities :

Placements for Civil are not great. Most companies that come for recruitment are construction firms, and the pay is not that high. You're better off pursuing higher studies or trying for government jobs.

Course Information :

Civil Engineering at MIT Manipal is a mixed bag. The course is comprehensive, covering everything from structural analysis to environmental engineering. But it can get a bit monotonous at times.

Fee Structure :

The fees are relatively lower compared to other branches, around INR 3.5 lakhs per year. It's a good option if you're on a budget, but don't expect any fancy facilities.

Faculty :

The faculty is experienced, but some of them are stuck in their old ways. They focus more on theory than practical application. But if you're genuinely interested, they're always willing to help.

Campus Details :

The campus is okay, but nothing to write home about. The Civil Engineering department is a bit isolated from the rest of the campus. But the good thing is that it's close to the beach!
