College Internship Opportunities :
MIT has its own placement and internship portal, which is pretty useful. They bring in a lot of companies for internships, giving students a good chance to get some real-world experience. It's a great way to boost your resume.
Course Information :
I'm doing my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering here. The curriculum is updated, but they did remove some parts that were there when it was MIT-COE. Overall, it's a decent course if you're looking for a solid foundation in mechanical engineering.
Fee Structure :
The fees are a bit on the higher side, especially considering the pandemic situation. We're paying the full amount without really using all the facilities. For B.Tech programs, the fees can range from ₹3-4 lakh per year, which feels a bit unfair right now.
Faculty :
Some professors are really good at teaching and are super helpful. Others, not so much. It's like any other college, really. But mostly faculty are supportive and knowledgeable, making the learning experience worthwhile.
Campus Details :
MIT-WPU has one of the biggest and best campuses in Pune. They host a lot of events, both technical and cultural. Aarohan is a really big deal here. The infrastructure is top-notch, especially in the Mechanical Department.
