College Internship Opportunities :
MSRIT does bring in some decent companies for internships, especially in the tech fields. However, getting an internship is super competitive, and you really have to hustle and network to stand out. The college could definitely do more to support students in finding good internship opportunities.
Course Information :
I'm in ECE, and honestly, the course content feels outdated. It doesn't really cover the latest tech, which is a bummer. I wish they'd update the curriculum to make it more relevant to what's happening in the industry. It would definitely help with job prospects.
Fee Structure :
The fees for ECE at MSRIT are pretty high, around ₹2.5 Lakhs per year. What's annoying is that you have to shell out extra for basic stuff like textbooks and lab manuals. It feels like they're nickel and diming us, which adds up and makes it less value for money.
Faculty :
Some of the ECE faculty are really knowledgeable and helpful, but others seem a bit out of touch with current industry trends. It's a mixed bag. You'll find some professors who are genuinely passionate about teaching, but others just seem to be going through the motions.
Campus Details :
MSRIT has a big campus, but it's not well-maintained. The buildings are old, and the benches are often broken. The Wi-Fi is unreliable, which is frustrating. On the plus side, the living spaces are clean, and the food is hygienic, so that's a relief.
