  • Lack of industry exposure
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

Internship opportunities for Civil Engineering students are limited. You can expect NCC and maybe one other small company. Don't have high expectations for placements specifically in Civil. It's an area where the college needs to improve to provide better exposure and opportunities for students.

Course Information :

The Civil Engineering course at NCET is a mixed bag. Some lecturers are top-notch, even from IITs, while others aren't as effective. Overall, it's decent, and you can get a distinction if you put in the effort. The SPP project guidelines from IISC helped me represent at multiple levels.

Fee Structure :

I don't have the exact figures, but the fees were manageable. NCET offers decent value for money, especially considering the infrastructure and campus life. You might want to check the latest fee structure on the college website or with the admissions office for specific courses like Civil Engineering.

Faculty :

Faculty quality varies in the Civil department. Some lecturers are excellent and bring a wealth of knowledge, including those from IITs and with Ph.D.s. However, a few lecturers need improvement. It's a mixed experience, but the good ones really stand out and make a positive impact.

Campus Details :

The college atmosphere and infrastructure are impressive. NCET boasts a beautiful campus that definitely enhances the overall student experience. It's a great place to spend your college years, with plenty of space and facilities to enjoy. The environment is conducive to learning and personal growth.
