College Internship Opportunities :
While NHCE has good placement records, internship opportunities could be better, especially for ECE students. CSE and ISE students have more internship options. Improving internship programs for other branches would greatly enhance the overall student experience.
Course Information :
I opted for the BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at NHCE because of its autonomous structure. The curriculum is pretty solid, with a good mix of theory and practical application. The college conducts three internal assessments and one semester-end exam, which keeps you on your toes but prepares you well.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for management quota students is quite high, around ₹6L including donation and hostel fees. Hostel fees alone are about ₹1.2L and increase annually. If you get in through CET, the fees are much lower. Donations for ECE can range from ₹2L to ₹6L, so keep that in mind.
Faculty :
The faculty at NHCE are well-qualified and approachable. They're friendly and always ready to help students. Their teaching methods are effective, and they make the subjects easy to understand. The faculty's support is definitely a highlight of the ECE program.
Campus Details :
The campus is compact, around 10 acres, but it's green and well-maintained. The library is excellent, with a vast collection of books and magazines. There are four canteens that offer a variety of food options. Overall, the campus is hygienic and provides a good environment for studying.
