College Internship Opportunities :

NIE Mysore provides ample internship opportunities, especially for mechanical engineering students. The college is very supportive during the placement process, making it easy and pleasant. They also bring in good companies for internships, giving us valuable industry exposure.

Course Information :

The Mechanical Engineering course at NIE Mysore is top-notch! The curriculum is modern, and the Eicher workshop is a huge plus. It's the only one in South India, giving us hands-on experience with the latest tech. Definitely a great choice for aspiring mechanical engineers!

Fee Structure :

I got in through COMEDK, so my fees are around 2.3 lakhs per year. If you get in through KCET, it's way cheaper, like 30k to 40k. So, try to crack KCET for a steal deal!

Faculty :

The faculty here are super friendly and supportive. They go the extra mile to teach us modern mechanisms, even if it's not in the syllabus. Plus, we have meetings with the HOD every semester to discuss faculty quality. It's a great way to voice concerns and get them resolved.

Campus Details :

The campus is divided into three blocks, which are a bit spread out. But the infrastructure is nice, and the environment is pleasant. The college encourages sports and celebrates college day in a grand way. Hostels are nice, and we get free WiFi 24/7!
