NIT Delhi: A Solid Academic Choice Despite Infrastructure Hiccups

Likes

  • Affordable fees with the NIT tag
  • Knowledgeable and helpful faculty
  • Clean and well-maintained campus
  • Good academic environment

Dislikes

  • Small campus with limited space
  • Outdated course curriculum
  • Limited internship opportunities
  • Small library with insufficient books
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

While core companies like TATA Power and L&T do visit for electrical branch placements, internship opportunities could be better. Many students don't get shortlisted for coding-related internships despite having the skills. Hopefully, the college will bring in more companies for internships soon.

Course Information :

The B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering program at NIT Delhi is pretty decent. The curriculum could use some updating to keep up with the latest industry trends, but overall, it provides a solid foundation. It's a good option if you're looking for a government college with a focus on academics.

Fee Structure :

The fee structure is quite reasonable, around ₹40,000 per year including hostel. The mess charges are extra, but even with that, it's hard to find a private college that offers the same value for money with the NIT tag. Definitely worth considering if you're on a budget.

Faculty :

The professors are really knowledgeable and have PhDs from reputable institutes. They're experts in their fields and give us practical insights, which is super helpful for projects. They're always ready to help with academic issues and even sometimes with day-to-day stuff.

Campus Details :

The campus is small, which means we don't have the best-equipped labs or enough space for sports like football and cricket. But the classrooms are well-equipped with ACs and projectors. The library is small, so getting books can be a challenge. On the bright side, the campus is clean and well-maintained.
