College Internship Opportunities :
While I haven't personally gone through the internship process yet, I've heard there are decent opportunities available. The college has tie-ups with several companies that offer internships, especially for core branches like EEE. Keep your grades up and network!
Course Information :
I'm currently studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) here. The curriculum is updated, which is great, but honestly, the teaching quality could use some improvement. If you're aiming to be job-ready, definitely consider taking extra courses outside the college curriculum.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for EEE is pretty reasonable considering the reputation of NIT Trichy. Expect to pay around ₹2-3 lakhs per year, including tuition and other academic expenses. It's definitely worth the investment if you're serious about your engineering career.
Faculty :
Some professors are really dedicated and knowledgeable, while others seem a bit disconnected. It really depends on the department and the specific course. Try to connect with seniors to get an idea of which professors are the best and most helpful.
Campus Details :
The campus is huge and has pretty much every facility you could ask for. It's a bit far from the city, so entertainment options are limited, but honestly, there's enough going on within the campus to keep you occupied. The infrastructure is top-notch!
