College Internship Opportunities :
NMIT provides some internship opportunities, but it could be better. They do bring in a few companies for campus placements, but most students have to look for internships on their own. The college is working on improving this aspect.
Course Information :
The Computer Science and Engineering course at North Malabar Institute of Technology is pretty solid. The curriculum is up-to-date, and they focus on practical skills, which is great. The faculty is supportive, and the labs are well-equipped, thanks to the NITK Suratkal affiliation.
Fee Structure :
I think the fee structure for B.Tech CSE is reasonable, around ₹70,000 per year. It's pretty standard for a private engineering college in Kerala. They also have some scholarship options, which is helpful for students from economically weaker backgrounds.
Faculty :
The faculty at NMIT are really friendly and helpful. They're always ready to help with project work and clear doubts. Most of them are experienced and have good knowledge in their respective fields. They create a positive learning environment.
Campus Details :
The campus is decent, with about 15 buses for transportation, which is convenient. The labs are top-notch because they're maintained under NITK Suratkal. The college is still developing, but it has the potential to become one of the best in Kerala.
