College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are decent, with a few companies coming for placements. But you have to work hard to get them. The college provides some support, but mostly it's up to you to network and prepare. Don't expect everything to be handed to you.
Course Information :
The BE Computer Science and Engineering course at Panimalar is pretty standard. The syllabus is okay, but don't expect too much beyond the basics. If you're looking for a deep dive, you might need to explore additional resources outside of class. It's a decent starting point, though.
Fee Structure :
I think for BE Computer Science, the fees are around ₹90,000 per year. It's manageable, but honestly, I'm not sure if it's worth the cost considering the limited practical exposure. There are definitely cheaper options out there with similar value.
Faculty :
The faculty is a mixed bag. Some teachers are really dedicated and helpful, but others just stick to the notes. They spoon-feed you a lot, which is good for scoring marks, but not so great for actually learning and thinking for yourself. It's a bit of a hit or miss.
Campus Details :
Campus life is a bit of a downer. It feels like you're constantly being watched. Boys and girls can't even talk freely, which is ridiculous. The campus is clean, but the strict rules make it feel more like a school than a college. Not much fun, to be honest.
