College Internship Opportunities :
While I didn't personally pursue any internships, I know that Pondicherry University provides good support for students looking for placement opportunities. The placement opportunities have been improving recently, with reliable salaries. The university actively helps students connect with companies.
Course Information :
I pursued my Masters in Chemistry here. The course had its ups and downs. Initially, the teaching quality wasn't great, but it improved in the later years. The curriculum has been updated recently, which is a huge plus for the juniors. Overall, it gave me a decent foundation for my career.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure is quite reasonable. I paid around ₹30,000-₹40,000 per year, including hostel and mess fees. The academic fees, including semester and exam fees, came to about ₹10,000-₹15,000 annually. It's definitely value for money, though there were times I felt the infrastructure could have been better.
Faculty :
The faculty in my department weren't always the most student-friendly, but they provided proper guidance. Some professors were really dedicated and helpful, while others were just okay. Overall, I'd say the faculty is a mixed bag, but they get the job done.
Campus Details :
The campus is the best part of Pondicherry University! It's so green and peaceful. The library is excellent, with good Wi-Fi and a great environment for studying. The reading hall is another awesome feature. I'm definitely going to miss the campus life when I leave.
