College Internship Opportunities :
While my department (Geology) doesn't have campus placements, other courses like MBA and M.Sc. Physics do. But for Geology, there are tons of exams we can take to land a job. It would be great if they started campus recruitment for us too, though.
Course Information :
I'm pursuing Geology here, and the syllabus is super well-structured. They've even added optional softcore courses to help us nail competitive exams. Seriously, my classmates are killing it in GATE, UGC-CSIR NET, and the Combined Geoscientist exam. It's a solid course if you're into earth sciences!
Fee Structure :
Okay, so the fees did go up last year, which was a bummer. But honestly, when I look at the quality of education I'm getting compared to other colleges, it feels worth it. I think for M.Sc. Applied Geology, the annual fee comes around ₹10,000 - ₹15,000, which is quite reasonable.
Faculty :
The faculty here are seriously passionate about teaching. They really go the extra mile to guide us. You can tell they genuinely care about our success. They're always available for doubts and extra help, which makes a huge difference.
Campus Details :
The campus is HUGE, with a ton of green space and even a forest area! As a woman, I feel super safe walking around at night, which is a big deal in India. Plus, there's no dress code, so you can be yourself. The campus is always buzzing with events, from Hostel Day to cultural fests.
