Poornima College: Good Placements but Could Improve Facilities

Likes

  • Good placement opportunities, especially for CS.
  • Decent campus life with many activities.
  • Experienced and supportive faculty.
  • Easy access to transportation.

Dislikes

  • Facilities not up to the mark.
  • Library books are limited.
  • Hostel rooms need better cleaning.
  • Fees feel high for the facilities provided.
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

While I'm still in my second year, I know that the college focuses on placements. They also try to provide internship opportunities, but I don't have much personal experience with that yet. Seniors say it's decent, though.

Course Information :

I'm currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Engineering, and the course is pretty good here. The teachers are supportive, and the curriculum is relevant. It's a good option if you're looking for a decent computer engineering program in Jaipur.

Fee Structure :

The course costs around ₹90,000 to ₹1,10,000 per year. Honestly, for the facilities, it feels a bit much. The fee structure is the same for all colleges under RTU, so it's not just Poornima. Hostel fees are about ₹85,000 per year.

Faculty :

Most of the teachers are quite experienced and have PhDs. They're dedicated and hardworking, which makes a big difference. The college also conducts CRT classes to help us with our personality development, which is super useful for placements.

Campus Details :

Campus life is quite vibrant. There are lots of activities like science fests and cultural events. The college is located near other colleges like Kautilya and PIET. Plus, there's a hospital nearby and an ambulance on campus for emergencies. Transportation is easily available.
