College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are somewhat limited, especially for core CSE roles. Most students get internships in local companies. The college does try to bring in companies for placements, but the competition is high. You might have to put in extra effort to secure a good internship.
Course Information :
The B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering program at RGMCET is decent. The curriculum is updated, but could use more industry exposure. Some of my friends felt the course was a bit theoretical, but overall it's manageable. Expect a mix of coding and core CS subjects.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for B.Tech CSE is around ₹80,000 per year. It's pretty standard for private colleges in Andhra Pradesh. There are scholarship options available based on merit and family income, so do check those out. Overall, it's an okay value for the money.
Faculty :
Some faculty members are really dedicated and helpful, especially in the CSE department. They're knowledgeable and approachable. However, a few professors need to improve their teaching methods to make the concepts easier to grasp. Overall, it's a mixed bag.
Campus Details :
The campus life at RGMCET is vibrant! The infrastructure is really good, and the sports facilities are awesome. There are lots of clubs and events happening all the time. You'll definitely have a good time if you're into extracurricular activities. The canteen is decent too!
