College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities were scarce. The college didn't provide much assistance in securing internships, so most of us had to rely on our own efforts. Securing a good internship is crucial for practical experience, and RIMT needs to improve in this area.
Course Information :
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at RIMT Institute isn't great, to be honest. The course structure felt outdated, and there wasn't much practical application. I felt like I was mostly studying on my own. If you're looking for a hands-on, industry-focused program, this might not be it.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for B.Tech programs at RIMT is around ₹1.2 Lakhs per year. Considering the quality of education and placement opportunities, it felt a bit expensive. There are definitely other colleges offering better value for money.
Faculty :
The mechanical engineering faculty was a major letdown. They weren't very supportive, and I didn't feel like they were invested in our success. Most of the time, I had to figure things out myself. It's crucial to have good mentors, and unfortunately, that was missing here.
Campus Details :
The campus is okay, nothing too fancy. Hostel facilities are decent but come with a lot of restrictions. The infrastructure needs improvement, especially for the mechanical engineering department. Overall, the campus environment didn't really enhance my learning experience.
